I use Gongs as the main component in my sound baths, to provide a relaxing and meditative experience for you. These sessions begin with a short meditation followed by various rhythms and tones played with gongs to transport you to a place of healing and relaxation. It’s an hour of time just for you. Remember to bring a mat, blanket and favourite cushion or pillow for during the gong bath and you may want water for afterwards. Some like to bring an eye mask or scarf to cover the eyes too.
The wonderful sounds and vibrations from the gongs can help with:
- reducing stress or anxiety
- calming the monkey mind
- helping improve sleep
- recovering from physical or emotional injury
- managing pain
- helping you relax
For many the gongs take them on a safe journey with sound that can be transformational and calming.
Details on my regular public gong baths are listed below. For all events please do book in advance as spaces are often limited or book up quickly. New locations will appear throughout the year and details will be posted on instagram and facebook as well as this website. You also can choose the option of a private gong bath for you or a small group of friends, or you can select a personal sound therapy session.

Contra-indications
Gong baths are suitable for most people and you can choose to sit if lying on a mat doesn’t appeal.
There is debate about certain contraindications for attending gong baths but in my experience, there is little science underpinning them – let common sense be your guide. But if you want to get in touch if you have any concerns I would be happy to talk to you in advance of attending one of my gong baths – please click the floating WhatsApp button on this page.
I do recommend avoiding alcohol before the session as it tends to reduce the quality of the experience and/or can lead to snoring which may impact on the enjoyment of other attendees.
Thanks for reading!
